Thank you for contacting us. We appreciate your interest in our shipping policy. Please find below the details regarding our shipping procedures:
Free Shipping / Standard Shipping: Orders typically ship within 1-3 business days, unless the item is on pre-order or backorder.
Expedited Shipping: If your order includes expedited shipping and is placed before 11 am central time, it will be shipped on the same day. Orders placed after 11 am central time will be shipped the next business day. Pre-orders will be shipped as soon as they become available.
Shipping costs paid during checkout are paid directly to the carrier at the time of shipment. If the carrier misses a delivery date, we cannot refund the shipping costs unless the carrier reimburses us. In such cases, we will work with the carrier on your behalf to file a claim for reimbursement. If the carrier refunds the shipping cost to us, we will pass on the refund to you.
Please note that delivery dates for expedited shipping are not guaranteed. UPS does not offer Saturday or Sunday delivery for any expedited service. To stay updated on any service delays, we recommend checking USPS and UPS service bulletins. Kindly note that White Elm is not responsible for carrier delays.

We offer free USPS Parcel Select Ground or UPS Ground shipping on all domestic orders of $100 or more (Alaska & Hawaii incur a flat $12 charge). Orders under $100 have a flat $5 shipping fee ($10 for Alaska & Hawaii). If you require special shipping instructions for your address, please contact us at support@shopwhiteelm.com or add your instructions to the "notes" section during checkout. You can also upgrade your shipping speed at checkout for faster delivery.
International orders are shipped via UPS or DHL Express. The shipping cost quoted during checkout covers the shipping only. Duties, fees, or taxes will be billed to the customer upon delivery by the carrier.
Please ensure that all information entered for your order is accurate. We are not responsible for any incorrect details such as name, address, email address, or the item ordered. If you need to change any information, please contact us at support@shopwhiteelm.com before your order is shipped. Once your order has been shipped, we cannot change the shipping address.
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. We send all orders to the address provided during checkout. If your order is returned to us due to an undeliverable address, we will refund the price paid (minus any shipping costs we incurred if your order qualified for free shipping) upon receiving the returned package. If you still want the item, you will need to place a new order with the correct shipping address. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.
To ensure the security of your delivery, please have it shipped to a secure location. White Elm is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages or their contents. If you believe your delivery location may not be secure, you can select the option for a signature requirement during checkout, which may incur an additional fee.
If you did not add the shipping warranty at checkout and your package is missing, you can contact your local post office or UPS to open an investigation and file a claim for a lost package on the USPS or UPS website.
If you remove the shipping warranty at checkout, you assume full responsibility in the event of a lost, stolen, or damaged package. All Priority Mail and UPS shipments include $100 of insurance, while USPS Parcel Select includes zero insurance. This is the maximum amount you can be reimbursed through the carrier if you remove the shipping warranty from your order. If your package is lost, stolen, or damaged, please report it to us within 3 days of it being marked as delivered or within 7 days of the last tracking event.
We strongly recommend purchasing the White Elm shipping warranty at checkout. It protects you against lost, stolen, or damaged packages. If you purchased the warranty and your package is lost, stolen, or damaged, please follow the instructions provided in the email sent to you after your purchase to file a claim. If you experience any issues with a lost, stolen, or damaged package and have the shipping warranty attached to your order, please do not file a claim with USPS or UPS, as it will void your shipping warranty. Instead, reach out directly to us or our shipping warranty partner.
All orders with a value of $250 or more will be shipped with a "signature required" delivery option.
