What is the warranty on your bags?

White Elm offers a 90-day Limited Warranty on our products. The warranty date begins on the day of delivery. Only eligible White Elm items are covered under warranty. Original proof of purchase is required on all warranty claims. The warranty is only valid on items purchased through our website shopwhiteelm.com and is not valid on resale, secondhand items, or items purchased through an unauthorized reseller. 

What our warranty covers: Loose or tearing stitching, zipper and hardware malfunction, workmanship defect, material failure, etc. as determined by White Elm. 

What our warranty does NOT cover: 

  • Water damage
  • Damage by a person or animal
  • Cracking in the seal on the straps
  • Failure as a result of improper use
  • Wear & tear, scratches or scuffing from a sharp object
  • Color fading or other damage from chemicals or protectants applied
  • Dirt, grime, spills and stains
  • Fire damage
  • Tears in the lining
  • Wrinkles in the fabric
  • Color transfer from clothing or other fabric
  • Theft
  • Anything unrelated to the quality of workmanship and materials as determined by White Elm.

How warranty issues are resolved: Depending on the situation, a replacement of the same style and color will be shipped (if not available, another color will be chosen), a store credit will be issued, or we will cover the cost of repair for a fixable issue. The original bag may need to be returned. Warranty replacements are sent out via standard shipping (no expedited).

Outlet items marked FINAL SALE, giveaway wins, (free) gifted items, and International orders are NOT eligible for our warranty.
